Italy Pavilion- Some Assembly Required! 

Late 1981, and construction on EPCOT Center is nearing it’s fever pitch! However, Italy was late in it’s construction, perhaps due to the sheer complexity of other projects being completed off in Future World, and other World Showcase pavilions being built first. As we can see across the lagoon, Canada and the UK have made progress, vertically, and even The Land is poking above the tree line. Journey into Imagination should be there, too, but the iconic space frame pyramid roof was the last thing to be added to the pavilion, in March of 1982.
